I get BAD travel sickness!?
I KNOW THIS IS A LOT TO READ AND A LOT OF INFORMATION But if anyone could spare the time it would be so so so appreciated I've not really been diagnosed with anything, but for the past 1 or 2 years I have always been feeling sick. I've never been sick, but I always feel like I'm about to be. I've been to the doctors and they gave me omeprazole tablets, which kinda helped but not majorly. I also get extremely extremely travel sick. Like, I live 15 minutes drive from my school and I can't get from my house to there in the morning without feeling a bit queasy. This Tuesday 22nd May I am taking a school trip to London. I live in Scotland, and it's about a 9 hour drive. I'm absolutely dreading it to the point that my anxiety about it is making me feel sick just now. We leave at 5 in the morning, so I'm going to try and sleep for the most part. I was given the strongest travel sickness tablets on the market so I don't know how they'll turn out. Also, there's a toilet on the bus which is good. I'm just asking if there's any remedies or tips that could help keep my mind off the fact I could be sick? REMEDIES IM ALREADY AWARE OF Sit near the front Don't read or look at my mobile phone Don't wear anything tight clothing Don't keep turning round to face the back of the coachAnything anybody can give me is really appreciated P.S. I think the bus should have curtains, which is good because I can ask if we can close them so my eyes don't need to keep adjusting to everything moving so quickly that would make me very nauseous Thanks again xx
